Portable High Sensitivity Magnetometer (PGIS-HSMag) is portable data acquisition based on Hand Held computer supplied with a Global Positioning System Receiver and high sensitivity and high resolution magnetometer processor MMS-4.

Suitable sensors:

• Scintrex: CS-3, CS2 and older
• Geometrics: G-823A, G-823B and older

Required input: Larmour frequency from magnetometer sensor

Basic parameters of the Larmour processor:

• Sampling rates: 5, 10, 20, 25, 50 and 100 samples per second
• Resolution:  0.2 picoTesla (pT)

Navigation

• GPS once per second

Data file:

• PEI compatible binary data format. It can be converted to ASCII or Geosoft format via PEIView program.
